Mother Natures pigment rich earth resources are sadly ignored today. We take for granted shopping for a kaleidoscope of stunning synthetic colours available for consumers. Artists mediums and colours are sold in single use plastic tubes and tubs. Resolute in turning my art practise around I hungered for alternatives! I became engrossed in making my own ecologically safe paint palette.

Five years on all my investment artworks are accomplished with my handmade watercolour paints and my handmade oil paints. They are colourfast and most importantly archival with absolutely no residue flaking from painted surfaces! Best of all are Mocean art is absolutely plastic free. :)

Binders:
Pigments with linseed or walnut oil for the finest purest oil paint of all. I am smitten.
Pigments with Gum Arabic + water + vinegar + oil of clove make stunning watercolours.
Hand made pastels well perhaps you will come along to one of my Earth Pigment Workshops to learn how to make your own.
If you are inspired I would be more than happy to facilitate a creative art session for up to 10 children or adults or mixed.
Whatever the occasion or celebration I would be delighted to run a Flying with Rainbows Earth Pigment Painting workshop or creative art play time.
